Homies (“Homies”, “we”, “us”) is a customer-relationship app for real estate agents, with a private portal for each agent’s clients. Homies is a product of Create & Source, based in Arizona, USA. This policy explains what information Homies collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. It applies to homiescrm.com, the agent app, the client portal, and agents’ lead forms and public pages.
When an agent is approved and signs in: name, email address, mobile phone, business name, license number, market and state, time zone, photo, bio, and display preferences. Sign-in uses a one-time code or link sent to your email.
Information an agent enters, imports from a spreadsheet, or receives through their lead form or lead-inbox email address — for example names, email addresses, phone numbers, a partner’s details, birthdays, what a buyer is looking for, details of a home being sold, deal dates and amounts, documents and signed copies, notes, and messages. People who fill in an agent’s lead form provide their name, contact details, their answers, and any call times they request.
Clients who sign in to their portal can add their own messages, notes on homes, and favorites.
An agent may connect their work mailbox through Nylas. Homies then reads new mail to file it to the client or deal it belongs to, and reads attachments' first page to name them. Mail that is not filed to a client within 30 days is deleted; mail filed to a client stays with that client's record even after the mailbox is disconnected. Homies sends email only when the agent clicks Send (every send is held for five seconds so it can be undone).
Homies uses an AI model provider to read filed email and portal messages, suggest replies, read the terms of contracts and inspection reports the agent files, and draft weekly updates. What is sent to the provider: the text of those messages and the page text of those attachments, together with the deal's dates and stated facts. Never sent: calls, sign-in details, payment details, or anything the agent has not filed. Every suggestion shows the words it came from, nothing is sent or changed without the agent's click, and the provider does not use this data to train models. Each agent has a monthly AI spending limit.

Agents and clients can talk by voice or video inside Homies. Calls are never recorded and never transcribed: no audio is stored anywhere, and none is sent to us or to anyone else. We keep only that a call happened: who called whom, when, and how long it lasted.
Your sign-in session is kept in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in. If you turn on notifications, we store your browser’s push subscription so we can send them. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or tracking pixels.
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When an agent connects it, Homies requests the following access, and uses it only as described here.
calendar.app.created): Homies creates one calendar in your Google account, named after your business, and adds, updates and removes events in that calendar only — your showing days and timed tasks. It reads changes you make to those events so they come back into Homies. It cannot see or change your other calendars with this permission.userinfo.email): shown in Settings so you can see which Google account is connected.calendar.calendarlist.readonly, calendar.events.readonly): Homies reads the start time, end time and title of events on your other calendars for the next 30 days, so it knows when you’re busy. These are shown only to you, in your own Homies calendar, and used to keep leads from being offered times you’re busy and to warn you before you confirm a call over something. Events you mark as “free” are ignored.How we use it. Google user data is used only to provide and improve these calendar features for you. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to build profiles, and not used to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. It is not shared with anyone except the service providers that host and run Homies (listed below), as needed to provide the feature, or where required by law. People at Homies do not read it unless you ask us to for support, it’s needed for security, or the law requires it.
Limited Use. Homies’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and removal. Google access tokens are stored on our servers and never sent to your browser. You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Calendar → Connect Google → Disconnect: Homies revokes its access with Google and deletes the stored tokens, the links between Homies and your Google events, and the busy times it read. You can also remove access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
So that Homies knows when you’re busy, an agent can paste a calendar link into Homies: an Apple Calendar made Public, or a Google Calendar “Secret address in iCal format”. Our servers read each link about every 30 minutes and keep only the start and end time of each event — never titles, notes, locations or people. Events marked “free” are ignored. The links are stored privately and are visible only to you in Homies. Remove a calendar in Settings → Calendar and its busy times are deleted. Anyone who has one of these links can view that calendar, so keep them private; you can turn off Apple’s Public Calendar, or reset Google’s secret address, at any time.
The separate subscription link Homies gives you (“Get Homies in your calendar”) sends your Homies schedule to your phone. Anyone with that link can see your schedule, so keep it private; you can replace it at any time.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Homies uses these companies to run the service. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide it:
An agent can see their own contacts, clients and leads, and people the agent adds to their team can see what the agent shares with them. A client who signs in sees only their own portal — the homes, documents, messages and dates their agent shares with them — and their agent’s public details. Their agent can see when they last used the portal and which pages or homes they opened, so the agent can follow up on what matters to them. An agent’s public page shows only what the agent chooses to publish, such as their bio and listings they mark active.
Documents and signed copies are kept in private storage and opened through links that expire after about ten minutes. Only the agent and the client the document belongs to can open it.
Calls are not recorded, so there is no call audio and no transcript to keep or delete.
We keep information while the agent’s account is active. Agents can delete a client (which removes that client’s records and files), remove connected calendars, and request an export of their data (email us; we send it within 30 days). To delete an account and its data, email us at the address below; we’ll delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation.
If you’re a client or lead and want your information corrected or deleted, contact your agent, or email us and we’ll work with your agent to handle it.
Homies uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), database access rules so each person reaches only their own information, private file storage with short-lived links, and keeps service credentials on the server. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.
Homies is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, and you can turn off notifications and disconnect calendars at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; contact us to use them.
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above, and tell agents in the app or by email about significant changes.
